His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik arrived in Paris this evening on a two-day official visit to the French Republic.

Upon His Majesty’s arrival at Orly International Airport, he was received by Roland Lescure, Minister of Economy, of Finance and of Industrial, Energy and Digital Sovereignty of the French Republic.

His Majesty was also received by Nabil Hajlaoui, France’s Ambassador to Oman; Ahmed Alaraimi, Oman’s Ambassador to France;  and Amna Al Balushi, Oman’s Permanent Delegate to UNESCO, as well as senior French military officers and members of Oman’s Embassy in France.

A formal reception ceremony will be held tomorrow at Les Invalides in Paris to mark His Majesty’s official visit.
