The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s welcome of the appointment of Ali Al Zaidi as Prime Minister of the Republic of Iraq and the formation of the new Iraqi government. Oman wishes him success in meeting the aspirations of the brotherly Iraqi people.

Oman also affirms its keenness to continue strengthening cooperation between the two brotherly countries across various fields in a way that brings further mutual benefits and reinforces shared interests.
