The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s strong condemnation and denunciation of the attack targeting a camp and a facility for electricity generation and water desalination in the sisterly State of Kuwait.

Oman affirms its full solidarity with the sisterly State of Kuwait and its support for the measures it takes to safeguard its security, protect the sovereignty of its territory and preserve its national resources.

It renews its call on all parties for an immediate and complete cessation of the war and for no escalation through targeting civilian and vital facilities, which constitutes a clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law.

Oman also underlines the importance of prioritising dialogue to ensure the security and stability of the region.
