A ceremony was held to celebrate the opening of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Muscat.
The event was held under the auspices of Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, and in the presence of Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister.
The opening of the Armenian Embassy reflects the growing relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries. It also reflects the two countries shared keenness to advance partnership across various fields, to serve mutual interests and support opportunities for investment, trade, and cultural exchange.
During the ceremony, the Armenian Foreign Minister delivered a speech in which he expressed his pride over the opening of his country’s embassy in Oman. He said that this step reflects the strength of bilateral relations and the shared desire to develop them and enhance areas of cooperation.
Commenting on the opening on the X social media platform Sayyid Badr said: “This important milestone reflects our shared commitment to strengthening cooperation, advancing dialogue on mutual interests, and unlocking new opportunities across a wide range of sectors.”
The embassy’s opening was attended by Ambassadors to Oman of Arab and friendly countries, members of the diplomatic and consular corps, state officials, private sector representatives, and members of the Armenian expatriate community in Oman.
