The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s strong condemnation of the serious escalation represented by the targeting of energy facilities in the South Pars field in the Islamic Republic of Iran, as a violation of international laws and norms and a direct threat to regional security and energy supplies.

Oman reaffirms the need to adhere to international laws and norms, including refraining from targeting civilian facilities and critical infrastructure.

It also calls for an immediate end to the war, the containment of its repercussions and the resolution of disputes through political means, dialogue and diplomacy, in a way that ensures security and stability for all parties and achieves their shared interests.
