Sayyid Badr conveyed Oman’s position calling for an end to the Israeli-American war on the Islamic Republic of Iran and a return to dialogue and negotiations as the only way to find viable solutions to achieve security, stability and peace and reach agreement on all outstanding issues.
Several ministers from brotherly and friendly countries affirmed similar positions calling for de-escalation and restraint. They expressed deep concern over the continuation of the war and the serious threat it poses to regional and international peace and security, as well as its humanitarian, political and economic consequences. They also called for an immediate cessation of military operations to prevent the conflict from expanding further.
The ministers stated that military solutions will only deepen the crisis and increase the suffering of the peoples of the region. They called for addressing the causes of the conflict through constructive dialogue and diplomacy.
