Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi held a meeting in Geneva with Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency. The meeting took place as part of consultation and the exchange of views on technical matters related to the Iranian nuclear programme, and the new ideas currently under negotiation between the Iranian and American delegations. This coincided with the start of a new round of indirect negotiations between them.

Oman’s Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi emphasised the importance of the professional and technical role carried out by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). He also spoke of the IAEA’a role in ensuring transparency, credibility and good governance in all relevant procedures.
