A telephone call was held between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, and Dr Fuad Hussein, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Republic of Iraq, to consult on current developments in the region.

During the call, the two Ministers stressed the importance of adhering to the constants of international law and respecting the sovereignty of states.

They also stressed the need to address differences by peaceful means and constructive dialogue, in order to contribute to the consolidation of security and stability, and to achieve the aspirations of the peoples of the region for development and prosperity.
