Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met Rafael Mariano Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, in Geneva.

They exchanged views on technical matters linked to the Iranian nuclear issue and the ongoing negotiations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States through Omani mediation.

Sayyid Badr expressed appreciation for the technical and verification role carried out by the International Atomic Energy Agency in support of efforts to achieve progress in the negotiations.

The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency commended the constructive role played by Oman in supporting dialogue. He affirmed the Agency’s keenness to continue technical cooperation to enhance the prospects of reaching understandings that contribute to security and stability in the region.
