A phone call took place between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Maxime Prévot, Belgium’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs and Development Cooperation  within the framework of the friendly cooperative relations between the two countries.

During the call Sayyid Badr welcomed the Belgian Government’s decision to open an embassy in the Sultanate of Oman. The two Ministers also discussed a number of developments and exchanged views on them.

The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister expressed his country’s support for Oman’s mediation efforts and for all diplomatic pathways aimed at achieving security and stability.
