His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received at Al Barakah Palace the credentials of the Ambassadors of eleven countries to the Sultanate of Oman.
His Majesty accepted the credentials of:
Charles Kingston, Ambassador of New Zealand to the Sultanate of Oman;
Yevgeny Sobolevsky, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the Sultanate of Oman;
Hoang Huu Anh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to the Sultanate of Oman;
Miguel Porto Parga, Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Sultanate of Oman;
Kjersti Tromsdal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Sultanate of Oman;
Miles Armitage, Ambassador of the Commonwealth of Australia to the Sultanate of Oman;
Andy Rodriguez Duran, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Sultanate of Oman;
Shebba Shumbayaonda, Ambassador of the Republic of Zimbabwe to the Sultanate of Oman;
Pavel Kafka, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to the Sultanate of Oman;
Zuraidah Binte Abdullah, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to the Sultanate of Oman;
and Kayterini Varvarigou, Ambassador of President of the Hellenic Republic to the Sultanate of Oman.
During their audiences with His Majesty, the Ambassadors conveyed the greetings of their countries’ leaders and their sincere wishes to His Majesty for continued success. They also wished the Omani people further progress and prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty. They emphasised their dedication to strengthening the relations of partnership and cooperation between their respective countries and the Sultanate of Oman across various fields, contributing to the support of shared aspirations and mutual interests.
His Majesty welcomed the Ambassadors, expressing his thanks and appreciation to the leaders of their countries for their greetings and kind wishes. He assured them that they would receive all support and assistance from His Majesty, the Government, and the Omani people, thereby facilitating their duties and the advancement of joint cooperation.
The credentials presentation ceremony was attended by the Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, the Commander of the Royal Guard of Oman; the Head of Royal Protocols, and Military Aides to His Majesty.
