António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, has arrived in Muscat, to begin a three-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

Upon his arrival at Muscat International Airport, the Secretary General was received by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs; Ambassador Dr Mohammed bin Awad Al Hassan, Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations and a number of Foreign Ministry officials.
