Electronic attestation services extended to UK, France and Belgium

As part of the Foreign Ministry's commitment to providing outstanding consular services, supporting the digital transformation goals of Oman Vision 2040, and streamlining procedures through service digitisation, the Ministry is pleased to announce the launch of the ninth phase of the electronic attestation service in the United Kingdom, France and Belgium.

This service will be available from May 22, eliminating the need to visit Oman's diplomatic missions in these countries for attestation services.

The electronic attestation service was initially launched in January 2025 and currently covers the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), Jordan, Austria, Italy, the Netherlands, Egypt, Germany, Cyprus, Denmark, the India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Japan and South Korea.

The service will be gradually expanded to other countries in accordance with the Ministry’s phased implementation plan, in collaboration with Oman Post.
