Iranian President receives Foreign Minister

The Iranian President Dr Masoud Pezeshkian received Oman's Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, on the sidelines of the 4th Tehran Dialogue Forum.

During the meeting, Sayyid Badr conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the President, along with his best wishes for his continued health and happiness, and for the friendly Iranian people’s ongoing progress and prosperity.

In return, the Iranian President asked Sayyid Badr to convey his warm greetings and appreciation to His Majesty, along with his sincere wishes for Oman's continued advancement and well-being.

The meeting reaffirmed the strong relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and explored ways to further strengthen cooperation across various fields in support of the interests of both countries.

President Pezeshkian expressed his country's appreciation for Oman's constructive role in working toward a balanced and just agreement within the ongoing Iranian-American talks.

Sayyid Badr expressed his deep appreciation to the President and the Iranian leadership for their support of these efforts and of the negotiation process aimed at achieving peace and reinforcing security and stability in the region and the world.
