Minister meets European Union Commissioner for Equality in New York

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met Hadja Lahbib, the European Union Commissioner for Equality, Preparedness and Crisis Management, on the side lines of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

The meeting discussed the importance of upholding international law, justice and equality in addressing all issues, especially with regard to the Palestinian cause, as well as ensuring the unimpeded delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The meeting also affirmed a shared commitment to enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Sultanate of Oman and the European Union, exchanging expertise in humanitarian and other areas of common interest, and continuing to support international efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region.
