The British Omani Society holds its annual lunch in London

The British Omani Society held its annual lunch in, London, with Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, and Hamish Falconer, Parliamentary Under Secretary at the UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, as guests of honour.

In his remarks, Sheikh Khalifa commended the distinguished and long-standing relations between Oman and the United Kingdom, affirming both countries’ commitment to further strengthening cooperation across various fields.

He also expressed his appreciation to the members of the British Omani Society for their continued efforts in fostering the bonds of friendship between the two friendly countries.

The British Minister expressed his pride in the strength of Omani British relations, praising Oman’s balanced foreign policy and its constructive and significant role in addressing regional issues.

The lunch was attended by Badr Mohammed Badr Almantheri, Oman’s Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Dr Liane Saunders, the UK’s Ambassador to Oman, and more than 100 members and guests of the British Omani Society.
