His Majesty leads welcoming party for President of UAE

Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), arrived in the Sultanate of Oman on a private fraternal visit.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming party for the President at the private airport in Salalah.

Alongside His Majesty, the UAE President was welcomed by His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik, Deputy Prime Minister for Defense Affairs; His Highness Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham, Minister of Culture, Sports, and Youth; His Highness Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham; His Highness Sayyid Marwan bin Turki , Governor of Dhofar; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Al Busaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office;  Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Sultan bin Salim Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr. Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; Sayyid Dr Ahmed bin Hilal Albusaidi, Ambassador of Oman to the UAE and Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Ambassador of the UAE to Oman.

After passing between two rows of the Royal Guard of Oman, the motorcade carrying His Majesty and the UAE President departed the airport, heading to the Al Hosn Palace.

Accompanying the UAE President during the visit is a delegation that comprises Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court; Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs; Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Families Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs; Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Nahyan, Adviser to the President of the UAE; Ali Mohammed Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr Ahmed Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs; Khaldoon Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority and member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi; Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; Dr Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology; Mohamed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment and Sheikh Mohammed bin Maktoum Al Maktoum, Ambassador of the UAE to Oman.
