His Majesty and UAE President review current issues
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and his brother His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, held a fraternal meeting at Al Hosn Palace in Salalah.
During the meeting they reviewed a number of topics of mutual interest and discussed ways to strengthen avenues of cooperation and partnership to help advance the economies of both countries in service of the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples. They also addressed ways to achieve peace and stability in the region, fulfilling peoples' hopes for a safe and dignified life.
Attending the meeting from Oman were: Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Theyazin bin Haitham bin Tarik Al Said, Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth; Sayyid Bilarab bin Haitham Al Said; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Minister of the Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi; Sultan bin Salim bin Said Al Habsi, Minister of Finance; Dr Hamad bin Said bin Sulaiman Al-Aufi, Chairman of the Private Office; Abdulsalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of the Oman Investment Authority; and Sayyid Dr Ahmed bin Hilal bin Saud Al Busaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Arab Emirates.
