Geneva: Oman participates in session of Human Rights Council
The Sultanate of Oman, represented by Idris bin Abdul Rahman Alkhanjari, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Sultanate of Oman to the United Nations and other international organisations in Geneva, is taking part in the 59th session of the Human Rights Council.
First Secretary Sara Al-Balushi, a member of the Omani Permanent Mission at the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, delivered a statement during the session, in which she affirmed Oman's condemnation of attempts to erase Palestinian identity and the deliberate targeting of educational, cultural and religious institutions.
The statement reaffirmed the Oman's steadfast support for the Palestinian people's legitimate rights, including the right to education and the right to preserve their cultural and religious heritage.
