Minister welcomes new Sri Lankan Ambassador

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received at the Foreign Ministry a copy of the credentials of Wijesinghe Arachchige De Alwis, newly appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Sultanate of Oman.

The Minister welcomed the Ambassador and wished him every success in carrying out his duties. He also wished for continued progress and growth in relations between the two friendly countries.

The ceremony was attended by Ambassador Najib Albalushi, Head of the Protocol Department and a number of officials from the Foreign Ministry.
