ITHCA Group invests in semiconductor technology

ITHCA Group signed a strategic investment agreement with the American company Lumotive in the field of programmable semiconductors.

The agreement was signed on behalf of ITHCA Group by CEO Said bin Abdullah Al Mandhari, and on behalf of Lumotive by its CEO Sam Heidari.

This investment marks a strategic step for ITHCA Group and reinforces its role in supporting global innovators and advancing the Sultanate of Oman’s ambitions in the semiconductor sector.

It aligns with Oman’s Government Digital Transformation Program under Vision 2040, which aims to position the Sultanate as a regional hub for advanced technologies and the knowledge economy.

Engineer Said bin Abdullah Al Mandhari, said that ITHCA Group’s investment in the American company Lumotive reflects its commitment to strengthening global partnerships with technology leaders, and to supporting efforts to transfer knowledge and develop national talent in semiconductor design.

Sam Heidari, said that this investment represents an opportunity for Lumotive to explore avenues for expansion in the Sultanate of Oman, with potential cooperation in research and development, capacity building, and advanced technical design.

Lumotive has received international recognition, including three Innovation Awards from the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), underscoring its role in the field of optical semiconductors.
