Oman welcomes ceasefire agreement in Gaza

The Foreign Ministry expresses Oman’s welcome for the agreement on the terms and mechanisms for implementing the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza. The agreement contributes to halting the war, the release of prisoners and detainees from both sides, and the delivery of humanitarian aid into the Strip.

Oman affirms the need to continue regional and international efforts aimed at consolidating the ceasefire and paving the way for a just and comprehensive political solution that guarantees the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and helps achieve security and stability in the region.
