Oman and Thailand hold political talks

The second session of political talks between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Thailand was held at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The Omani delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs. The Thai delegation was headed by Mrs Sirilak Niyom, Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The talks covered relations between the two friendly countries especially in the fields of logistics, the health sector and energy.

The meeting also discussed the exchange of investments and cultural cooperation and included consultation on regional and international issues of mutual concern.

The session was attended by Sheikh Abdulaziz Alhosni, Head of the Asia and Pacific Department at the Foreign Ministry, Warunee Pan-Krajang, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from both countries.
