Sheikh Abdullah Alharthy, Oman’s Ambassador to the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Permanent Representative to the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, delivered an address in which he noted that celebrating National Day reflects Oman’s historic journey since the establishment of the Alubsaidi state in 1744, followed by sustained development efforts that strengthened the Sultanate’s regional and international standing. He added that this progress is continuing under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik.
