The meeting took place within the framework of the official visit of the President of Zanzibar to the Sultanate of Oman.

The meeting reviewed bilateral relations and ways of enhancing cooperation and partnership to serve the common interests of both Oman and Zanzibar.
The joint communique was issued on the occasion of the visit of Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of the friendly United Republic of Tanzania to the Sultanate of Oman.
The MoUs, signed in the presence of the Tanzanian President, cover energy, tourism, natural resources, higher education, training and national museums.
The message was delivered by Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi when the Tanzanian President received His Excellency today at the Presidential Palace in Zanzibar.
