GCC Summit hails Oman’s declaration of 2050 carbon neutrality deadline

In his opening speech, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud said close cooperation among GCC states will lead to the accomplishment of the desired goals.
Oman said the illegal practices of the Israeli authorities in the occupied Palestinian territories, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip are a matter of concern to the international community and in breach of International Law
The two countries announced the start of the first Strategic Dialogue between Oman and the United States.
The "Algeria Declaration" rejected all foreign interference in the internal affairs of Arab countries and stressed the need to adhere to the Arab Peace Initiative to solve the Palestinian issue.
The summit heard speeches from the Presidents of Egypt, Palestine and from the Crown Prince of Kuwait.
The Arab summit is discussing many topics , including political developments in the Palestinian cause, food security initiatives, developments in Libya and Yemen, Arab security cooperation and the development of the League of Arab States.
A joint statement was issued by the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain on the visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to the Kingdom of Bahrain from 24th to 25th October, 2022.
The Foreign Ministry said that the decision by the Australian government to rescind its recognition of West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is a step towards achieving a just and comprehensive peace, based on International Law and UN resolutions related to the Palestinian cause.
