South Korea: Embassy launches book marking 50 years of diplomatic relations

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in the Republic of Korea launched a book  “The Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Korea: Fifty Years of Diplomatic Relations.”

The publication, issued in both Arabic and Korean, documents the journey of friendship and fruitful cooperation that officially began in 1974.

Zakariya Alsaadi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Korea, praised the strength of relations between the two countries, noting that this publication “embodies the history of cooperation and the spirit of friendship that has united the two peoples.” He expressed his hope that the book will open new horizons for another fifty years of fruitful cooperation and shared progress.

He praised the Embassy’s important role in deepening mutual understanding between the two friendly countries.

The launch ceremony was attended by senior officials from the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, members of the Arab and foreign diplomatic corps, cultural, media and academic figures, representatives of Korean and Omani companies, as well as business leaders and journalists.
