Political Undersecretary meets with Swiss Foreign Ministry

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, met with Monika Kirgöz, Head of the Middle East and North Africa Division of the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs.

The meeting reviewed the joint efforts of Oman and Switzerland to help resolve regional issues and reduce tensions. It also discussed areas of academic and diplomatic cooperation between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by Sheikh Humaid Almaani, Head of the Diplomatic Academy; Dr Thomas Oertle, Ambassador of Switzerland to Oman, and a number of officials from both countries.
