Philippines: Embassy hosts cultural event

The Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Manila hosted a cultural event to mark the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of the Philippines.

The celebration was attended by Germinia Usudan, Assistant Secretary for Middle East and African Affairs at the Department of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines, along with a number of government officials, business leaders, tourism representatives and media professionals.

The event featured a photography exhibition showcasing traditional Omani architecture, including images of forts and castles.

The event also included an art exhibition of traditional handicrafts and a display of popular Omani dishes that are distinctive to Omani cuisine.
