Pakistani President receives Oman’s Ambassador

President Asif Ali Zardari of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan received at the Presidential Palace in the capital, Islamabad, Fahad Alkharusi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

During the meeting, Ambassador Alkharousi conveyed the greetings of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik to President Zardari, along with His Majesty’s best wishes for good health and happiness. His Majesty also wished the government and people of Pakistan continued progress and prosperity.

President Zardari in turn asked Ambassador Alkharusi to convey his sincere greetings and best wishes to His Majesty and the people of Oman.

The meeting underscored the advanced relations between the two countries and their shared commitment to expand cooperation to wider horizons in a manner that serves the mutual interests of both nations.
