Oman Japan Investment Forum reviews cooperation opportunities
The Oman Japan Investment Forum, held in the Japanese capital Tokyo, reviewed opportunities for cooperation and strengthening trade and investment partnerships.
The Forum was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, the Ministry of Health, and businesspeople and investors from both countries.
The Forum was held during the visit to Japan of a delegation from the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, headed by Sheikh Rashid Almaslahi, First Vice Chair of the Chamber.
In his remarks, Sheikh Rashid highlighted the importance of the forum in exploring potential trade and investment opportunities between the two countries.
He added that the Chamber is keen to support and strengthen commercial cooperation between the Omani and Japanese markets.
Ambassador Mohammed Albusaidi, Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to Japan, spoke about the importance of the Forum in enhancing trade and economic exchange, particularly in the sectors of industry, advanced manufacturing, healthcare, food security, tourism and services, as well as both renewable and conventional energy.
The meeting also included several visual presentations explaining the investment environment and opportunities in the Sultanate of Oman, the key incentives offered to investors across various economic sectors, including the health sector and major national projects.
