Oman welcomes US President's announcement to lift sanctions on Syria

The Foreign Ministry welcomes President Donald Trump’s announcement of the lifting of US sanctions on the Syrian Arab Republic.

This decision will enable the Syrian government and people to achieve development and prosperity.

The Ministry also commends the efforts of all brotherly and friendly countries in promoting stability, thus supporting the political and economic recovery of this brotherly country.
