The Ministerial Council issued a joint statement strongly condemning the Israeli attacks on the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing them as a blatant violation of national sovereignty and international law.

The statement calls for an immediate de-escalation and the resumption of diplomatic negotiations, praising Oman’s prominent role in facilitating dialogue on the Iranian nuclear issue —an essential pillar for resolving the ongoing conflict and promoting regional security.

Oman is continuing its intensive diplomatic efforts to contain the dangerous escalation unfolding in the region and to prevent the spread of tensions resulting from repeated Israeli attacks.

Sayyid Albusaidi is holding an extensive round of phone consultations with counterparts in friendly and partner countries, including prominent international figures such as European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas.

The discussions are focused on coordinating international positions, reinforcing political and legal pressure to halt Israeli attacks immediately and advancing inclusive negotiations to restore stability and prevent further military escalation in the region.

Oman’s approach is grounded in promoting constructive dialogue, upholding international law, and defending peaceful solutions as the basis for achieving regional security and stability.

These efforts reflect Oman’s strategic vision of building international bridges of trust, and its key role as a credible mediator in regional crises.
