Oman condemns Israeli attack on humanitarian convoy

The Foreign Ministry expresses the Sultanate of Oman’s condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli attack on the “Al Sumood” convoy carrying urgent humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, in yet another violation of all international and humanitarian laws.

Oman affirms that the continued perpetration of such inhumane acts by the occupation authorities, at a time when international calls are mounting to end the famine in Gaza, reveals a deliberate policy of using starvation as a weapon of war.

Oman also renews its urgent call for the immediate entry of humanitarian and relief aid into the Palestinian territories without obstruction, stressing the need for the international community to shoulder its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to put an end to these violations and to protect civilians.
