Oman at Istanbul meeting of Arab League Ministers

The Sultanate of Oman took part in an extraordinary ministerial-level meeting of the Arab League in Istanbul.

Oman’s delegation was headed by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs.

The meeting condemned the Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a blatant violation of the sovereignty of a United Nations member state and a threat to regional peace and security.

It also underscored the need to halt this aggression and to intensify regional and international efforts to de-escalate tensions, leading to a ceasefire and comprehensive calm.
