Political Undersecretary at Berlin Global Dialogue

Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, participated as a speaker in one of the sessions of the Berlin Global Dialogue Conference, held, which focuses on global prosperity, clean energy transitions, and climate change.

Sheikh Khalifa spoke about Oman’s strategy to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050, highlighting national efforts to develop the clean energy sector, particularly in green hydrogen production, in line with the objectives of Oman Vision 2040.

Speakers at the session also discussed current geopolitical developments and their impact on the global pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, underscoring the importance of international cooperation and strengthened partnerships for a more sustainable and prosperous future.
