Oman and the Netherlands hold political consultations

The 31st round of political consultations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of the Netherlands was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Muscat.

The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Dutch delegation was headed by Christiaan Rebergen, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.

The consultations discussed the existing relations and cooperation in energy, logistics, and education. It reaffirmed the shared commitment to further strengthening relations across all fields. A number of regional and international issues of mutual interest were also reviewed.

The meeting was attended by Maartje Peters, Ambassador-designate of the Netherlands to Oman, along with several officials from both countries.
