
Oman-Iran Strategic Consultation Committee meets
The eleventh session of the Oman–Iran Strategic Consultation Committee was held at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.
The Omani delegation was led by Sheikh Khalifa Alharthy, Undersecretary for Political Affairs, while the Iranian delegation was headed by Majid Takht Ravanchi, Political Deputy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The session reviewed key aspects of relations between the Sultanate of Oman and Iran in the political and economic fields, as well as matters concerning citizens of both countries. It also discussed progress made in recent visits and agreements, with both delegations underscoring the importance of following up on their implementation to further strengthen cooperation between the two countries.

The two delegations also exchanged views on regional and international issues of common interest.

The session was attended from Oman by Sheikh Ahmed Almaskari, Head of the Ministry's Department for the GCC and Region, and Mousa Farhang, Iran's Ambassador to Oman, as well as officials from both countries.
