Oman and Estonia hold political consultations

Political consultations were held between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Estonia, during a meeting between Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi and Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna  at the Foreign Ministry in Muscat.

The discussions covered the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and explored ways to develop those and create further opportunities for partnership, particularly in the fields of renewable energy, technology, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity and digital transformation. They also addressed prospects for investment partnerships between private-sector institutions.

Oman and Estonia hold political consultations

The two Ministers also exchanged views on a number of regional and international issues of common interest, and discussed ways to align positions and policies in order to strengthen security and stability and advance constructive dialogue in accordance with international law, justice and the principles of sovereignty and independence of states. They underlined the importance of continuing dialogue and coordination to address and better understand current global challenges.

The talks were attended from Oman by Ambassador Mundher Almandhari, Head of the Europe Department, and a number of Foreign Ministry officials. The Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to Oman also attended the talks along with officials from Estonia.
