
Minister receives Hungary’s Secretary of State for the Environment
Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi received Dr Anikó Raisz, Secretary of State for Environmental Affairs at Hungary’s Ministry of Energy.
The meeting discussed ways to enhance cooperation in water resources management, climate change, pollution control and waste recycling. The Ministers also highlighted the importance of strengthening connectivity through programmes for exchanging expertise and knowledge. They discussed cooperation in international environmental forums and reviving a number of joint initiatives in this regard.

The meeting also addressed the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries across political, economic and cultural fields. The discussion commended the level of existing coordination and the achievements secured, as well as the tangible convergence in the policies and approaches of both countries in a number of areas.
The meeting was attended by Dr Abdullah Alamri, Chairman of the Environment Authority; Ambassador Sheikh Mohammed Alqutbi, Head of the Ministry's Department for International Organisations and various officials.
