Minister meets with Foreign Minister of Uruguay

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met in New York with Mario Lubetkin, Foreign Minister of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, on the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

The meeting discussed the friendly relations and cooperation between the Sultanate of Oman and Uruguay, with a focus on enhancing ties in the economic, cultural and educational fields, and encouraging mutual investments in support of the two countries’ shared aspirations.

The talks also covered regional and international developments, as well as the common challenges posed by the current global situation.

The meeting was attended by a number of officials from both countries.
