Minister meets Lebanese counterpart

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met at Al Alam Palace with Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Youssef Raggi during the official visit of President General Joseph Aoun to the Sultanate of Oman.

The Ministers reviewed the relations between the two countries. They discussed ways to explore further cooperation and develop it in the political, diplomatic, economic, trade, cultural and educational sectors.

They also addressed opportunities for partnership and investment in health security, food security and in logistics and transport links, in line with the aspirations of both leaderships for sustainable development and diversified mutual interests.

The Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments of mutual concern. They underlined the importance of continued coordination and consultation to strengthen security and stability in the region and to support efforts that promote diplomatic solutions through constructive dialogue.
