Minister meets his UK counterpart

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Yvette Cooper, UK Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, on the sidelines of the Manama Dialogue 2025 .

The meeting reaffirmed the historic ties between the two friendly countries and explored ways to enhance cooperation in the political, economic, and security fields. The two Ministers also exchanged views on regional and international developments.

The two Ministers also discussed ways to strengthen coordination on issues of mutual interest, particularly efforts to support regional security and advance peace initiatives in the Middle East.
