Minister meets Angolan Fisheries Minister

Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr Albusaidi met with Carmen do Sacramento dos Santos, Minister of Fisheries and Marine Resources of the Republic of Angola, as part of his official visit to Angola.

The meeting reviewed the existing cooperation between the two friendly countries in the field of fisheries and marine resources and discussed ways to develop investment partnerships and exchange technical expertise in this vital sector. It also explored opportunities for cooperation in aquaculture and related industries.

The meeting underlined the importance of drawing on accumulated experience in managing and sustainably developing marine resources, and of strengthening institutional cooperation to support food security and diversify sources of income, in line with the sustainable development goals of the two friendly nations.
