During the meeting, the Ministers discussed the friendly relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen cooperation and economic partnership, particularly in the field of renewable energy.

They exchanged views on the current dangerous regional tensions resulting from the Israeli military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

The two Ministers also reflected on the progress of negotiations aimed at reaching a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, as well as developments in the Yemeni crisis and ways to contain conflicts through dialogue and peaceful means.

They affirmed that security and stability cannot be achieved through violence or by imposing solutions through military force and agreed that the only path to a just and lasting peace is through political negotiations, diplomatic channels, the rule of law and justice, and respect for the sovereignty of states.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador Munther bin Mahfouz Al Mandhari, Head of the Foreign Ministry's Europe Department, and by Dirk Lölke, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to the Sultanate of Oman, along with a number of officials from both delegations.
