His Majesty to visit Spain

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik will go on a state-visit to the Kingdom of Spain from Monday.

A statement was issued by the Diwan of Royal Court to this effect. It reads as follows:

“In response to an invitation received by His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik from King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain, His Majesty the Sultan will go on a state-visit to Spain during November 3-5, 2025.

“The visit comes in a manifestation of ties of friendship between the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Spain. It aims to meet the aspirations of the two countries.

“During the visit, the two monarchs will explore areas of cooperation between the two countries in various spheres, and means of promoting them to serve the joint interests. The visit will also address a set of regional and international developments.

“His Majesty the Sultan will be accompanied during the visit by a high-ranking official delegation comprising His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs; Sayyid Khalid bin Hilal Albusaidi, Minister of the Diwan of Royal Court; General Sultan bin Mohammed Al Nomani, Minister of the Royal Office; Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister; Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office; Abdussalam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, President of Oman Investment Authority; Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion; Engineer Salim bin Nassir Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals; and Thamer bin Fayyaz bin Khalfan Alalawi, Ambassador of Oman to Spain.”
