His Majesty receives message from Tanzanian President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik received a written message from President Samia Suluhu Hassan of the United Republic of Tanzania, dealing with the relations between the two countries.

The message was delivered when His Majesty gave an audience today at Al Baraka Palace to Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Minister of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation of the United Republic of Tanzania.

During the audience, the Minister conveyed the greetings of the Tanzanian President and her best wishes of good health and success to His Majesty. He also conveyed the Tanzanian President’s wishes for further progress and prosperity for the Omani people.

His Majesty in turn asked the guest to convey his greetings and best wishes of happiness and success to the President. His Majesty also wished the Tanzanian people continued development and growth.

The meeting was attended from Oman by Sayyid Badr Albusaidi, Foreign Minister and Dr Hamad bin Said Al Aufi, Head of the Private Office. Those attending the meeting from Tanzania included: Maulidah Hassan, Adviser to the President; and Abdullah Abas Kilima, Tanzania's Ambassador to Oman.
