His Majesty in phone call with King of the Netherlands.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik today made a telephone call to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands.

During the conversation, His Majesty and King Willem-Alexander exchanged views about developments in the escalation between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Israel and the serious ensuing outcomes, including the expansion of the attacks to Al Udeid Air Base in the State of Qatar.

His Majesty the Sultan and the King of the Netherlands also welcomed the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel.

The two leaders underscored the importance of consolidating this de-escalation and stressed the need to intensify regional and international efforts to end the conflict and engage in dialogue and peaceful negotiations in order to protect lives, resources and the interests of peoples, in addition to enhancing security and stability in the region and the world at large.
