His Majesty hosts an official dinner in honour of the Lebanese President

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik hosted an official dinner at Al Alam Palace in honour of General Joseph Aoun, President of the Republic of Lebanon and his accompanying delegation, on the occasion of his official visit to Sultanate Oman.

Attending the official dinner were members of the Royal Family, Ministers, senior military commanders, Ambassadors of friendly countries accredited to Oman and various officials.

Before the dinner, His Majesty and the Lebanese President exchanged decorations and commemorative gifts.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik bestowed upon the President, the Oman Military Order, First Class in recognition of the President and as a mark of esteem for the close relations between the two countries and their peoples.

The President conferred on His Majesty the National Order of the Cedar, Grand Cordon, the highest decoration of the Lebanese Republic, in appreciation of His Majesty and as an expression of the enduring relations between the two countries.
