
His Majesty and Indian Premier at signing of Economic Partnership Agreement
His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik and Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India, witnessed the signing of the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of India at Al Baraka Palace.

The agreement aims to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between the two countries and facilitate the movement of goods and services. It also seeks to broaden cooperation in vital fields, including energy, technology and manufacturing industries.

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Government of the Sultanate of Oman by Qais bin Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion. It was signed on behalf of the Government of the Republic of India by Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce and Industry.
